Education
Lincoln County has numerous parochial schools, preschools,
and daycare centers. Higher education may be pursued at Lindenwood
University, and Missouri
Baptist University. A satellite branch of Missouri Baptist
is located in Moscow Mills.

Recreation
Cuivre
River State Park encompasses 6,393 acres of hills, creeks,
woods and grasslands. The park has 38 miles of trails and over
18 miles of the trails are open to horseback riding. Camping
facilities are available.
Golf
Woods Fort Country Club is an 18 hole facility with a clubhouse
of 28,000 square feet. The clubhouse has a pro golf shop and
is used for wedding, anniversary and special event receptions.
Lincoln County Youth Fair
The fair is held every July in Troy and is a showcase of events
and entertainment. County fair winners compete in the Missouri
State Fair and the owners of Thornhill Real Estate and Auction
Company David & Brenda Thornhill are the proud parents of
the 1998-1999 Missouri State Fair Queen, Cheri Thornhill Winchester.
