Auctioneer's Note:Mark your calendars. Here is one of the last true old German homesteads. This is a 4th generation farm. They settled here in 1877 and there has never been a sale on this farm. Norma passed away at the age of 88 and her maiden name was Wenke. She was known for her delicious pies and quilting quilts. She gave piano lessons but the rumor was that most came not for the piano lessons but for the homemade pie afterwards. Erwin lived to be 90. This was a working family farm; hogs, chickens, cattle and row crop. Family heritage names include Massmann and Knoernschild, and Meier, Holt and Wenke. Truly a German family. You won’t see any cleaner Antique Furniture than on this sale. Bring your cameras. Plenty of parking. See you at the sale. David, Charlie & Dusty.
